Mental well being support and coping strategies to help mitigate impact of life challenges
Directly in the communities we serve, we can offer phone support, our website has a blog which includes full details of this service during the COVID19 outbreak. We also aim through our site with blogs and podcasts to promote tips around caring for mental/emotional wellbeing as well as useful contacts and opportunities to connect with online activities e.g. Yoga on You Tube, while our own to one service is limited, our website anyone can access. Service provided in the G15, G14, G13 postcode areas
The website anyone can access just google www.cope-scotland.org The phone support service is currently covering Glasgow and can be accessed by phoning 0141 944 5490, if the line is engaged people can leave a message with their number and someone will call back or text, 07763 743 296 or email email@example.com THIS IS NOT A CRISIS LINE, if someone has issues with suicide and cannot keep themselves safe from acting on those thoughts then they need to phone their GP or statutory mental health provider, or other helpline. THIS IS NOT A HELPLINE, its moving the service COPE normally offers face to face and adapting this to be a phone line service for now, which people we are currently supporting have said will be helpful. We continue to take referrals as we always have and information is on the brochure on our website
